Fernando was a radio announcer/radio spot salesman and car salesman most of his life before opening his business in 2004. He learned the tortilla business by helping his former wife who worked for a tortilla factory for many years in Farmington. This industrial-looking warehouse hides a treasure trove of homemade tortilla goodness. Located on the east side of Farmington in the small town of Bloomfield, Chihuahua Tortilla Factory churns out thousands of tortillas per day, and you can buy them by the dozen (bagged) or by the case (boxed). Horchata and biscochitos are also available for purchase, and there’s a short-order burrito/soft taco counter for quick snacks.
