| Art Sandoval, a retired ironworker, is the owner of Jerky by Art. Art first started making beef jerky for himself to enjoy as a snack on building worksites. Soon his coworkers were requesting his delicious tasting jerky, and he began taking orders. His orders got so big that he bought a few dehydrators and had them going day and night. Later, he purchased a commercial dehydrator and fixed his garage as a beef jerky room. He continued working to improve the taste of his product and bagan making a variety of flavors. Today Art operates his business out of a storefront in Northeast Albuquerque. |
