Lynn Trojahn
Lynn Trojahn, Vice President of Advancement for Accion New Mexico · Arizona · Colorado, has a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Colgate University and a master's degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management. Lynn has been in the fundraising field for 28 years in the California Bay Area and now Albuquerque, her hometown. Before starting at Accion she was the Director of Advancement at Bosque School raising over $12 million in funding for building a new school and creating a financial aid endowment and before that at the University of New Mexico Libraries raising over $6 million to create strong collections and garner the distinction of having the UNM Library System in the Top 50 of Association of Research Libraries, ranked at 47 nationwide in 1997.
Lynn has worked with Accion since February 2005, where she has supported raising over $27 million for operational, endowment, in-kind, lending, and building capital. She is a board member of United Way of Central New Mexico, the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and the ANG*L Network for Grateful Living. She is past-chair of the advisory board for the Center for Nonprofit Excellence. Lynn is a volunteer with the Albuquerque Community Foundation, the NM Association of Fundraising Professionals, the NM Association of Commerce and Industry and the National Jewish Respiratory Hospital in Denver. Lynn was president of the NM Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2000 and received the NM Outstanding Fundraising Executive award through this group in 2003.
Lynn has been distinguished as a Power Broker and in 2010 a Rainmaker as part of the Power Broker list, a Woman of Influence, an Up and Comer and in the 40 Under 40 groups through the New Mexico Business Weekly. She is a native New Mexican with a daughter who graduated from Bosque School and is studying computer engineering at the University of Arizona, a husband who works in finance and she loves to play golf with him around the country and near her family’s ranch, the Salman Raspberry Ranch in La Cueva, NM.
