Accion New Mexico • Arizona • Colorado (Accion) is launching a campaign today to support businesses affected by recent and ongoing wildfires in Colorado. Effective immediately, Accion is offering low-cost fire recovery loans of up to $5,000 to businesses in Archuleta, Boulder, El Paso, Lake, La Plata, Larimer, Mesa, Montrose, Montezuma, Park, and Teller counties. The loans are interest-free for six months and subject to Accion's standard loan fees. Accion is accepting applications for the fire recovery loans through August 31, 2012. Accion is also proud to announce the launch today of a fundraising campaign in partnership with Groupon Grassroots, the philanthropic arm of popular Internet site Groupon. This campaign will harness Groupon's collective social action power to support Accion's work with small businesses in Colorado counties affected by this summer's wildfires.
