ACCION NAMES JAMES H. HINTON AS CHAIRMAN



Albuquerque, NM (Feb. 4, 2009) – Esteemed local business leader James H. Hinton has recently begun a two-year term as Chairman of ACCION New Mexico • Arizona • Colorado’s governing Board of Directors. Hinton, who is President and CEO of Presbyterian Healthcare Services, is joined as an officer and executive committee member of ACCION’s 2009 Board of Directors by some of the state’s most respected business leaders: Lorna Wiggins, president of Wiggins, Williams & Wiggins, PC has been named Vice Chair/Chair Elect; Carol Mayo Cochran, principal of REDW Business and Financial Resources, LLC is Treasurer; Paul Sowards, long-time community banker is serving as Secretary; and John Carey, President and CEO of the New Mexico Society of CPAs is Immediate Past Chairman. Other executive committee members are Charles N. Eldred, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, PNM Resources; Bob Wertheim, Chairman of Charter Bank • Mortgage • Insurance; and Ray Ziler, principal with REDW Business and Financial Resources, LLC.
 
ACCION’s 2009 committees are being led by the following individuals: Loan Review Committee Chair Jed Fanning, Regional President, First Community Bank; Governance Committee Chair Bruce Leising, entrepreneur and retired electronics industry executive; Audit Committee Chair Ray Ziler, principal with REDW Business and Financial Resources, LLC; Building Committee Chair Andrew G. Schultz, director with Rodey Law Firm; Investments Committee Chair Bob Wertheim, Chairman of Charter Bank • Mortgage • Insurance; and Regional Development and Advancement Committee Chair Rick Wadley, President of Bank of America-New Mexico.
