ACCION Names Lorna Wiggins Board Chair & Announces 2011 Board Leadership and New Directors

Albuquerque, NM (April 27, 2011) – Esteemed local attorney Lorna Wiggins has recently begun a two-year term as Chair of ACCION New Mexico • Arizona • Colorado’s governing Board of Directors. Wiggins, who is president of the law firm Wiggins, Williams & Wiggins, is joined as an officer and executive committee member of ACCION’s 2011 Board of Directors by the following business leaders: Bruce Leising, managing partner of Coastside LLC is Treasurer; Michelle Coons, regional commercial banking manager and senior vice president for Bank of the West is serving as Secretary; and Jim Hinton, president and CEO of Presbyterian Healthcare Services is Immediate Past Chairman.
ACCION is also welcoming two new members to its 2011 Board of Directors: Bill Ridenour, a principal of the law firm Ridenour, Hienton & Lewis in Phoenix, Arizona; and Victor R. Jury, Jr., president and CEO of Summit Electric Supply in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Bill Ridenour, an Arizona native, is a Phoenix-based attorney with a practice specializing in transactional, banking and corporate law. He has an extensive collection of western and Native American art and is an avid Arizona history buff. Ridenour holds bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Arizona as well as a master’s degree through the Eagleton Institute of Practical Politics.
Victor R. Jury, Jr. is one of three founders of Summit Electric Supply which was launched in Albuquerque in 1977. Jury, who has previously served as an ACCION board member, is a Gold Level graduate of the National Association of Electrical Distributor’s Electrical Products Education Course known as EPEC. Jury has also served as chairman for the IMARK Group, a marketing co-operative of about 200 electrical distributors, as chairman of the National Association of Electrical Distributors and its Education and Research Foundation, and has served on the board of the Industry Data Exchange Association (IDEA). He participates on advisory boards of several major manufacturers.
