ACCION Offers Upcoming Workshop for Business Owners on Low-Cost Marketing

Albuquerque, N.M. (June 27, 2011)–ACCION New Mexico • Arizona • Colorado (ACCION) is holding an upcoming seminar for business owners on low-cost marketing. During this informative and engaging session, titled “Marketing Your Business on a Dollar Menu Budget,” presenter Susan Wilson, vice president of business development for New Mexico Mutual, will help business owners understand the importance of a business’ brand, how to garner earned media coverage and identify if paid media coverage is right for a business. She will also cover the best opportunities and partnerships to promote a business.
The session will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on July 20, 2011 at ACCION’s office at 2000 Zearing Ave. NW in Albuquerque’s Sawmill neighborhood. As Vice President of Business Development, Ms. Wilson oversees marketing for New Mexico Mutual, the state’s largest provider of workers’ compensation insurance. Ms. Wilson has more than 15 years experience providing strategic marketing advice for companies of all sizes throughout New Mexico. She has extensive experience in marketing, public relations and governmental affairs. Her resume includes directing marketing for Lovelace Health System and serving as vice president of Cordova Public Relations.
