Albuquerque, N.M. (June 29, 2011) – ACCION New Mexico • Arizona • Colorado (ACCION) is offering financial assistance to businesses affected by recent and ongoing wildfires in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado.  Effective immediately, ACCION is offering low-cost fire recovery loans of up to $5,000 to businesses in Catron, Chaves, Colfax, Eddy, Lee, Los Alamos, Mora, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Socorro, Taos and Valencia counties in New Mexico; Apache, Cochise, Graham, Grant, Greenlee and Navajo counties in Arizona and Bent, Boulder, Larimer, Las Animas and Summit counties in Colorado.  The loans are interest-free for six months and subject to ACCION’s standard loan fees.  ACCION is accepting applications for the fire recovery loans through August 30, 2011.  To learn more or to apply for a fire recovery loan, business owners may call ACCION toll-free at 1-800-508-7624.  They can also access ACCION’s loan application online at www.accionnm.org/small-business-loan-application.php.
