Dear Friends, Accion New Mexico • Arizona • Colorado (Accion) is deeply honored to have been selected as the recipient of the first Power of One Capital Access award. This $75,000 award was announced yesterday evening at the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) 2012 National Conference in Washington, D.C. We are tremendously excited to put this award to work supporting the microenterprises and small businesses that are generating revenue and creating jobs in our neighborhoods. We would like to thank AEO and the Citi Foundation for making the Power of One awards possible. We also send heartfelt congratulations to the other Power of One award finalists and the award recipients in the Innovative Services, Momentum Business and Sustaining Business categories.
